Brad From “The Rachel Zoe Project” Split

Oh no! I must admit, I am a bit traumatized! Brad and Rachel Zoe from the Rachel Zoe Project have called its quits. If you have been following the show, you would know that Rachel recently lost another trusted employee, Taylor Jacobson. However, though some people were surprised, I don’t think anyone cared much. She (Taylor) was a bit of a spoiled brat…always complaining. I, for one, was glad to see her go. Well, back to the subject.
Brad has decided to leave, reportedly because he wants to spread his wings. He is looking to go out on his own and start his own business. Which is great. However, I can see Rachel being a bit upset, reportedly, she is heartbroken. She did give him a chance and handed over a huge amount of responsibility to him. He didn’t stay that long and is already bailing on her. That’s enough to make anyone peeved.
Brad also has the potential to a real competitor for Rachel in their rather small industry. He is really loveable and seems to know what he is doing most of the time, though his clothing pics, at times are a bit questionable. I do hope he is ready to work. He did complain a lot about Rachel’s hectic schedule. If he’s working on his own, he better get ready!
Even though the split was initially said to be amicable, there are some rumblings that Rachel isn’t too enthused about the attention Brad is getting. He just landed a front page article in the style section of the New York Times. Oh boy, get ready for the fur to fly!!!

Michael Lohan Fighting for Conservatorship Over Lindsay

After Jamie Spears‘trend, publicity hungry Michael Lohan was confirmed to have filed conservatorship for daughter Lindsay Lohan. Michael was spotted by the paparazzi on his meeting with attorney David Chon last Wednesday outside West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center. According to a source, the two talked about Lindsay, who has just been admitted in a rehab facility in Orange County after being arrested and held in prison for drunk driving.
According to Michael, his main intention is to keep her ex-wife Dina and the business manager of Lindsay, Lou Taylor from taking care of all the affairs of the actress, saying that the two are only using Lindsay for their own benefits. The public is not easily fooled, however, having been known the dark past and anger of Lindsay towards her father. Michael also seems to be anticipating that the judge won’t easily sign up Lindsay over to him but he said he already has two other options to take over his position in case the results of his application turns out negatively.
Michael seems to have got his confidence out of Britney’s dad conservatorship approval. The case between the two in entirely different, however, because Britney has been proven to be really losing her head and her dad, Jamie, is actually a mild-mannered man who never once sought for the attention of the paparazzi or asked for money from her daughter. As for Michael, why don’t you judge yourself as to what the real intentions of this man are? 

Alleged White House Party Crashers Threaten To Sue

Tareq and Michaele Salahi are tired of being referred to as the ‘White House Party Crashers’ and now fighting mad! They are threatening to sue anyone that calls them that, including their ‘Housewives’ cast mates.
Lisa Bloom, Gloria Alfred’s daughter, is representing them. Taking her job seriously or perhaps attempting to benefit from the free press representing the Salahi’s provides, she fired off a rather short email to all of the couples in the cast, warning them that referring to her clients as the Party Crashers was an actionable offense.
This letter was sent out just in time for the season reunion show. I’m supposing that the duo doesn’t want to be embarrassed by anyone who dares bring up their alleged misdeeds. Bloom claims that the couple have been cleared of any allegations of crashing the White House Party via an investigation done by an independent investigator.
In addition to not accusing them of crashing the White House soiree, Bloom and the Salahis also wants everyone to refrain from stating or implying that they crashed the Black Caucus Dinner. Bloom calls both accusations not only false but defamatory. She goes on to threaten to sue the girls if they do.

Alicia Keys & Pals Raises A Ton Of Money For Charity

Pop singer, Alicia Keys, helped raised a ton of money for her charity. Keys along with Uma Thurman, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Jay-Z and a host of other celebs got together and raised more then $2 million for Alicia’s Keep A Child Alive Black Ball.
The event is held annually to raise money for children and families who suffer from HIV and AIDs in both India and Africa.
Alicia keys, along with her and her pal’s money, contributed her singing talent to the event. She sang along with R&B legend Sade and rapper Jay-Z. The rapper and Keys performed their hit song, ‘Empire State of Mind.’
Keys was in the company of Swizz Beatz, her new husband and soon to be baby’s father.
Key’s Keep A Child Alive Black Ball has been going strong for 6 years. The event has raised more then $10 million since its establishment.

‘Dog,’ The Bounty Hunter Hurt On The Job

‘Dog’ the Bounty Hunter was hospitalized yesterday after hurting himself during a bounty hunt. He was resportedly hurt significanly enough that he had to be transported to UCLA Medical Center, where has been overnight.
‘Dog’ was supposedly suffering from internal bleeding and a possible blood clot. Things are reportedly looking much better now and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Those individuals that watch the show, or who have ever, recognize the danger Chapman and his crew puts their self in day in and day out. They routinely chase down dangerous criminals who are extremely motivated not to be thrown back in jail.
Many of the fugitives run and fight in an effort to escape. It really is quite surprising that more injuries aren’t reported on the show.
Hopefully, ‘Dog,’ will make a full recovery. He is expected to. Chances are viewers of his show will be able to see what went down because I’m pretty sure that the cameras were rolling. If not, perhaps more details regarding how he was hurt will soon be released.

The ‘Miley Cyrus Show’ Debuts on SNL

OK, not really. There is no new Miley Cyrus show and certainly not one on SNL (Saturday Night Live) but there was a parody of one last night. It was actually pretty funny. Vanessa Bayer, a comedienne on the show, did a dead-on impersonation of the teen queen.
She acted out the ‘Myley Cyrus Show’ skit alongside Bryan Cranston and Paul Brittain. Cranston played Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus and Brittain, Johnny Depp.
In the skit ‘Cyrus’ was super confident, extremely energetic and pretty self-focused. She also used the phrase “pretty cool” a ton, which may turn out to be a new catch phrase, akin to Paris Hilton’s “That’s hot.”Bayer captured the accent, down-homeyness and gravel voice of the teen star Cyrus.
Paul Brittain, a newcomer to SNL, played Depp quite beautifully, so good in fact, that it was easy to get him confused with the mega star. Both of the comedians did a fine job and if this is any indication of their acting ability and comedic timing, they may end up doing pretty well on the show and even perhaps create some classic pieces.

Is Lindsay Thinking About Selling Her Rehab Photos?

Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan is thinking about selling a few of her rehab pictures for fast cash. Because Lindsay’s problems have made it difficult for her to get work, she is feeling the pressure to generate money the best way that they can.
When Lindsay is able to work, she can command a premium amount of cash but at this point, much less money than she could if she sold her photos. Some believe that for the right types of photos, Lohan can fetch up to $100,000.
Rehab and a celebrity lifestyle are costly to attain, not to mention attorney’s fees (it seems like Lindsay is always in court). If she has to support herself and her family, it’s understandable that the pressure might be getting to her, making selling photos of herself pretty tempting.
For those that have been following Lindsay, rehab photos are nothing new. She was photographed at the Cirque Lodge rehab center. I wouldn’t be surprised if those pictures weren’t by “accident.”
Well, selling pictures of oneself may not be the best way to make money but it certainly seems easy. And she’s not naked so, ‘no harm, no foul.’ There are worst ways to generate cash. She’s not really hurting anyone. I’m pretty neutral on this. If she doesn’t make money from these images, someone else will, so I say go for it!

Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent…. A Couple?

Talk about an odd couple! Chelsea Handler, the late night hostess and 50 Cent the rapper/actor are supposedly hooking up, though neither are saying too much.
The “interesting” duo were spotted together at a bar in New Orleans where 50 sang a little ditty, perhaps in honor of Chelsea.
When asked by the paps (TMZ) directly about what’s up with the funny woman, the buff rapper surprisingly didn’t have much to say. He just smiled. I’m surprised since talking (rapping) is Fifty’s occupation. No word yet from Chelsea.
My take on the subject is this. Chelsea, you can do so much better then 50 Cent. Sure, he has a nice body and is moderately attractive but everything else seems a bit lacking. He also doesn’t seem to be the smartest guy around, but hey, to each it’s own.
Chelsea you are so funny and successful, don’t waste your time with Fifty! Find someone who has it together and who isn’t all about the drama. Going from the head honcho at E! to Fifty Cent, seems to me to be a bit of a downgrade!!

Basketball Superstar’s Ex to Receive Mental Evaluation

The attorney representing Dwyane Wade’s kids in his child-custody case wants the courts to force Wade’s ex-wife to undergo psychological testing.
The superstar basketball player is going through a bitter custody fight with his ex, Siohvaughn Wade.
Lester L. Barclay, the kid’s attorney, believes that Siohvaughn has violent tendencies and perhaps some mental problems. Barclay contends the aforementioned, based in part, on Dwayne’s ex-wife own testimony.
He has stated that she has shown evidence of extreme violence as well as murderous and suicidal inclinations.
Barclay would like the courts to force Siohvaughn to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. He has also recommended that the couple’s kids live with Dwayne Wade’s until custody is determined.

Chelsea Handler Denies Romance Rumors

Chelsea Handler must have become aware of the rumors regarding her supposed “romance” with rapper 50 Cent, because she has finally decided to address the whispers and speculation.

She recently took to where else, Twitter, to dispel the rumors. She wrote “Everyone, calm down. I met with Mr. Cent about a potential project. There’s nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is.”
Handler crafted this Tweet after pictures hit the web of her and 50 Cent sitting really close together in a New Orleans jazz bar over the weekend. She insists that the get- together was totally business related.
The uproar about the potential coupling is sort of warranted. The picture did look pretty suspect and when 50 Cent was asked about whether or not they were together, he was suspiciously coy and smiled a lot.
Neither party was forthcoming or saying much. I supposed Chelsea saw that things were getting out of control, so she decided to put a stop to it.
Well, for now, it looks like the story is a non-story. No relationship, no nothing as of yet. Handler promises to announce if or when something changes. So I guess that means that we all have to stay tuned.

T.I.’s Probation Hearing Scheduled

You are probably well aware of rapper, T.I.’s most recent legal troubles. He, along with his new bride, ‘Tiny,’ were busted for drugs.
Their vehicle was pulled over while the duo was in Las Vegas and cops found some illicit substances. Both, were subsequently, jailed.
There wasn’t an incredible amount of drugs found in the car, which rules out a long sentence for distribution. However, the incident could prove especially damaging for T.I.
He just finished up a reduced sentence for attempting to purchase guns and fire-arm paraphernalia from undercover cops. He’s a felon, which makes the aforementioned a big no-no.
T.I. received a much lighter sentence then he could have. In fact, many people considered his sentence an extremely light one, considering the charges. Well, that big break could prove moot.
Because a drug charge would definitely mean that he violated his probation, he faces a pretty stiff jail sentence if his lawyer can’t get him out of this one. His hearing is scheduled for October 15th, which gives T.I. and his team less then 2 weeks to work out a successful strategy.

Danielle’s (RHONJ) Ex Still Out For Payback!

Kevin Maher, Danielle Staub’s ex-husband, is still pretty fighting mad. He just got done taking on Danielle for several disparaging statements she made on the show, the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
The two ended up settling out-of-court for an undisclosed amount of money. He originally asked for $5 million but there’s no word on how much money exchanged hands.
Well, Maher, apparently isn’t finished yet. He’s still on the war path. This time he is taking on the publishing company that published Danielle’s book, “The Naked Truth.” Simon and Shuster is the publisher.
Maher threatened the publishing house when word leaked that Staub would be penning a book for them, with lawsuit. They proceeded and now Maher wants them to pay-up, to the tune of $10 million.
No word yet from Simon and Shuster. Maher and Staub settled. Maher is probably hoping that Simon and Shuster settles as well. Being able to collet a few million dollars for almost no work at all, would be a pretty sweet deal.

Justin Bieber to Reign Over Ashton Kutcher’s Punk’d Revival

Move over Ashton Kutcher, seems like a certain teen icon in the name of Justin Bieber will soon be taking over your throne as the new host (and king) of Punk’d. According to a variety of sources, MTV is currently working to revive its past series Punk’d , with the teen heartthrob as the new host.
Having been established himself as a young and influential pop icon, MTV believes that Bieber is just the right one to hold the program whose pranks is primarily aimed for the entertainment of teenagers and those who are in their early 20s and 30s. MTV also believes that it will be another good leap for Bieber’s career as the show will add to his exposure and popularity. Sources said that if everything went well into plan, the show will be premiered early next year.
As for Ashton, is he harboring hard feelings that he is now kicked out of his own series where he got his own share of popularity?
Definitely not. For starters, Ashton Kutcher was the one who actually created the show. In fact, Kutcher’s own production company, Katalyst, will be the one starting the program again. Kutcher, will definitely be returning as a part of Punk’d but as an executive producer together with Jason Goldberg.

Oskana Fires Bodyguard

It looks like this who English-language barrier thing continues to cause problems for Oskana. The embattled, “baby momma” of Mel Gibson seems to have been duped by her bodyguard, Kristen Otto Herzog. Well, Herzog is reportedly a scam artist and someone not fond of telling the truth.

One of his biggest “whoppers was that he was working for Oskana free of charge, courtesy of Jack Nicholson. Nicholson was supposedly footing the bill so that she wouldn’t have to. It turned out, that it was all lies All of it. Jack’s people denied even knowing Herzog.
Herzog has also had some pretty serious legal troubles. He has been charged with two felonies, impersonated a cop (complete with handguns and bullets) and spent time in jail.
Mel Gibson (the baby daddy) seemed to already have had an inkling that something was awry. He had a restraining order placed on Herzog before all of this damaging info was leaked.
Oskana was alerted by Mel but was unmoved, at least initially. That has since changed. Since everything has come to the forefront, Oskana has changed her tune and has given Herzog the boot. Hopefully, he goes quietly and without any issues.

I am somewhat in agreement with her. The couple does seem to avoid telling the truth like the plague. They also seem to enjoy attempting to pull the wool over people’s eyes, case in point, the ‘grape stomping’ incident. The couple had the RHOW caste over to stomp what were supposedly vine-grapes. The grapes were actually purchased from a local grocery store.
So does Michaele Salahi have MS? I have no idea. But I hope for her sake that she doesn’t or that she isn’t lying about having it if she doesn’t. It is a very serious disease that affects millions of people. Besides, being caught for something like that would totally discredit her, probably forever.

Kim Kardashian Gets Into Club Scuffle

Kim Kardashian and her sisters, plus Scott Disick (Kourtney’s boyfriend) were out partying in New York, when all heck broke use.
Kim was asked by a male fan to take a picture with her. She obliged. However, his girlfriend was none too pleased. She let the picture happen but she made Kimmie pay soon after. The girlfriend threw a drink at Kim.
Khloe, no surprise, jumped into the fray defending her sister. Scott got involved as well, again, no surprise. When Khloe got involved her wedding ring slipped off. If you guys watch the show at all, then you know how Khloe feels about her ring…she loves it!
Well she threw herself down and got down on all fours in an effort to find the ring. Once she retrieved it, the entire posse headed for the door.
Kim may want to be more careful. A simple no-pic policy while in the club might be useful. It may not be fun or a popular but at least she will be able to avoid the aforementioned. Club fights don’t really suit Kim or anyone from the Kardashian clan for that matter.

Two and a Half Men Kid Star Compensated Nicely

Angus T. Jones, the kid star of Two and a Half Men” just signed a major contract with the show. He will now receive $300,000 every episode.
Jones plays Jake Harper, the nephew of Charlie Sheen on the show. In addition to the $300,000 he will be paid for the 26 episodes he is guaranteed to be in, he will get a signing bonus worth $500,000. This turns out to be a cool $7.8 million. Man, talk about a sweet deal!
Even though Jones is scheduled for 26 episodes, it appears that Two and Half Men will shoot at least 48 episodes, which would effectively double Jone’s payday.
If you think this is a lot of money, consider the fact that Charlie Sheen makes a whopping $2 million for episode. Over two seasons or 48 episodes, he will make $96 million dollars. Not bad at all!!

Polygamist Have A Date With Oprah

An upcoming airing of the Oprah show will feature the polygamist family from “Sister Wives.” The entire ‘gang’ won’t be there. However, most of them will. Kody Brown, the family patriarch will be in attendance, along with his wives and some of his kids.
This isn’t the first time that Oprah has interviewed a family that included multiple wives. Last year, she talked to such a family. I’m not sure that she is going to learn anything different this time around.
Perhaps she is simply striking while the iron is hot. The ‘Sister Wives’ television show has been getting a lot of buzz and generating a substantial amount of publicity.
I’m not sure whether or not I plan to tune in. I’m really not interested in hearing 3 women discussing how they share and then pass around the same man. No thanks. I have better things to do. However, for each his or her own.

Deadliest Catch Captains Return

Three of the most popular captains on the hit show, “Deadliest Catch” will return to the television show. The trio had recently quit following a dispute with the Discovery Channel over a television special seperate from the ‘Dealiest Catch.’
Evidently, they were able to work things out well enough that everyone involved felt comfortable resuming the show. The three captains returning are Andy Hillstrand and Johnathan Hillstrand who are brothers and Sig Hansen.
The initial dispute was between the Hillstrand brothers and Disovery over the special yet-to-be released, “Hillstranded.” Though Hansen had nothing to do with the dispute, he quit the show in suppport of the siblings.
Apparently, all was made well, not only beause the brothers agreed to come back to the show but also because the telvision special in the midst of the dispute will be completed to the satisfaction of the Hillstrand brothers.

Christina Aguilera Splits up with Music Producer Hubby after Five Years of Marriage

Following the high trend of divorce in Tinseltown is pop singer Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman. According to a credible source, the two have been living apart for almost five months already though they’ve kept quiet about it. The two first met on 2002 when Bratman became one of the producers of Aguilera’s albums. On 2005, the couple tied the knot in a luxurious ceremony held at Napa Valley with big star guests such as Sharon Stone.
Just last year, the pop singer expressed on an interview with UsMagazine.com about her being very blessed with her marriage with the top music executive. What went wrong then?
According to the source who is also a close friend of Aguilera, the two were very much into each other in the majority of their five years living together. However, during the last six months, it became evident to the two that their relationship was more like between friends than being husband and wife. The two tried to work things out though and Aguilera even suggested that they have a trip to Italy together as a way to bring back their past relationship. This move, unfortunately, didn’t do any help.
On a lighter note, despite the two living together for approximately five months already, the ex-couple are haven’t filed for a divorce yet. According to the source, the two are still trying to work things out by living separately for a while for their son Max who is already two years old.

Blake Lively and Ryan Gosling: New Secret Lovers?

Gossip Girl fans who are very into the real life romance between actress Blake Lively who plays Serena van der Woodsen and Penn Badgley who has the role of Dan Humphrey might have their worlds fall apart with this latest scoop straight from the land of dreams and fantasies, Disneyland.
A few days ago, Lively was seen by a number of people grabbing some ice cream at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor in Disneyland with no other than Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling. The two were spotted around noon at the restaurant talking to each other.
Though the two were not exactly sweet, restaurant-goers started becoming suspicious about Lively and Gosling’s real agenda on the place when they tightly refused to have their picture taken together. According to some of the people there, the two received photo requests from fans easily though they were adamant in refusing to have one shot together.
This sighting stirred the rumor that Lively has finally ended her relationship with co-star Penn Badgley because the two haven’t been seen together recently. However, at Blake’s interview last week at Jay Leno, the actress just shared a cute story about her co-star which confuses things because her attitude seems to show that nothing is going wrong between them.
When representatives of Gosling and Lively were asked about their supposed to be ‘date’ at Disneyland, they said that the two were just having a business meeting about a certain movie role. Hmmm…but why evade having a photo together though? You tell.

Christina Aguilera’s Files For Divorce

Christina Aguilera’s marriage with Jordan Bratman is over, at least for now. The breakup is particularly shocking (at least for Aguilera fans) because the couple’s relationship just a short time ago seemed bulletproof.
Christina constantly and consistently went on record bragging about how great Bratman was as a husband, how lucky she was for having him in her life and how terrific their marriage was. Well, it looks like things have changed. The duo has supposedly been separated for between 5-6 months.
Aguilera was the one who filed for divorce. She cited the celebrity-friendly excuse “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. However, there are rumors that Christina strayed and was unfaithful. Perhaps Bratman is too much of a gentleman to out her in public and is fine with letting her cite “irreconcible differences” as the cause of their divorce.
There is a pre-nup agreement in place. Christina has filed a petition that any money made before, during and after the marriage be counted as separate. I’m not sure about this one. I can see before and after, but money made during the marriage, I think should be shared. If the tables were turned, i.e., Bratman was the superstar, I’m sure she would be angling for income generated while the two were married. She also wants to make sure that Bratman doesn’t receive spousal support. Wow, it looks like Christina is going hard!!
Aguilera has asked Laura Wasser to represent her. She is looking for both joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s son, Max.

T.I. Plans to Follow-up With Suicidal Man

I’m not sure if you heard, but T.I. helped saved a man from jumping off a 22-story building. The man was contemplating suicide.

Atlanta police hurried to the scene and tried to get the man down but it didn’t work. A radio DJ asked T.I. to come down the the radio station, where the man was planning to jump after T.I. called in and asked if there was anything that he could do.

T.I. hurried down and shot a short video of himself, stating that nothing was worth killing oneself over. The video must have reverberated with the man.
He agreed not to jump. T.I told the man, “I want to speak to you, and that it’s not that bad. I’m willing to do whatever it is to help the situation, but I can’t do that unless you help me help you.”
Since helping talk the man down, T.I. has been asked whether or not, he plans on keeping touch with the him. He replied that he did. The rapper stated that he would be willing to do whatever it takes to help the man and make things better for him.
Good job T.I. When he decides to do good, he tends to to a lot of good. Let’s just hope that he finally and definitively decides to use his influence for good and stays out of trouble. It’s harder to touch people while behind bars.

Tennis champion Maria Sharapova is engaged! To Sasha Vujacic of the L.A. Lakers! The baller proposed with a rock rivaling one of his NBA championship rings!
The pair, who were first seen holding hands about a year ago, got engaged Tuesday after Sasha popped the question at his home in Manhattan Beach, CA.
According to TMZ, Maria has been spotted out wearing the ring, and even Vanessa Bryant would be impressed by the future Mrs. Vujacic's ginormous diamond.

Sasha Vujacic has more to celebrate than the L.A. Lakers' back-to-back titles. He's about to become the future Mr. Maria Sharapova! The couple just got engaged!

In news that does not relate at all to this story, Sasha has been on the Lakers' bench recovering from a concussion. This should help ease the pain somewhat.
Also interesting: While perhaps best known for her image, Maria is a three-time Grand Slam winner, holding Wimbledon, Australian Open and U.S. Open titles.
Sasha Vujacic averages 4.9 points a game career. Just sayin'. Also, he's from Slovenia (of Serbian descent) and she's Russian. Cool stuff. Congratulations to both!

James Woods on Kristen Stewart: She's Just Like Marlon Brando!

Justin Bieber has made like the Beatles. Jay-Z has said Willow Smith could be the next Michael Jackson.
Now, James Woods has probably committed his own sacrilegious comparison in the minds of many, comparing Kristen Stewart to a pair of acting legends at the premiere of Welcome to the Rileys.

Kristen Stewart = Marlon Brando? Some film buffs might take exception to this claim.

Said the veteran actor, who will direct the Twilight Saga star in a future project:
"I always say that Kristen is like [Marlon] Brando, and I've always thought that she had that incredible sort of internal ability to submerge into the role and be lost in it in a good way. I see that with the best actors; DeNiro's like that, so many good actors are like that."
Added Woods:
"She just has insight, that unique insight that certain people have. You're not getting a cookie cutter performance. You're getting something that you don't expect. You don't know where to go and you kind of take the ride. I think she has the potential to be one of the best of her generation if not the best."

Kanye West really hates awards show.
We all know how the rapper acted at the 2009 Video Music Awards, and now he's back in the news for slamming the Grammys and its recent choices for Album of the Year.
“Where’s our instant replay clock?" he asked Access Hollywood. "Why are the last four Albums of the Year: Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, Ray Charles and Herbie Hancock? You know, with all due respect... that’s inaccurate."

Kanye hates the Grammys... but might love Kim Kardashian.

So, who would Kanye want to see taking home these trophies?

"[Justin Timberlake’s] ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds,’ Gnarls Barkley. How about Usher - ‘Confessions’? How about albums that sold 10 million?” Kanye suggested, adding:

“I pinpoint the Grammys and the VMAs because they have to take responsibility, because they mean something to us. Little kids that are singing in front of the mirror. They’re also thinking about their Grammy speech... [shows] have to take some responsibility to say what really happened in culture this year because we’re marking it down.”

West insists he isn't making a pitch to get his name and/or upcoming album atop any awards lists. The man is all about other people, folks!

“It’s not about me," he says. "I’ll jump in front of a moving car for history. It’s not really about me. It’s about everybody. It’s about all artists. It’s about fair ground. Jersey Shore Season Finale Recap: Adios, Miami

After some skirmishes but a lack of fireworks, the second season of Jersey Shore went out with a thud. Not really a bang. Pauly D didn't even try to get it in!
There was a trip to the swamp, a feud between friends, a last hurrah at the club, and a great line or two, but "Back Into the Fold" was more filler than finale.

They really dragged this season of Jersey Shore out.

The gang heads to the Everglades. MTV is really milking the Florida thing. Minus 5.

Sitch scares JWoww with his frog legs. We mean actual dismembered frog parts, not his own legs, which are frog-like compared to that HGH-enhanced chest. Plus 4.

The restroom tryst starring the Situation during the last night at the club might have set the sanitary bar lower than ever. Not a small feat for Jersey Shore. Minus 6.

After two mediocre, Jon Gosselin-caliber girls approach Vinny about a threesome, he breaks it down as such: "Okay, they're not the prettiest girls in the world, but mix two grenades and it might make one good-looking girl." Plus 11.

Sam: "I like to be with my boyfriend at all times. Do you get that?" Scary. Minus 3.

Pauly D: "I'm not going to smash it out with Rocio before I leave. Umm, it's not that kind of chick. I don't need to." No, it is definitely not that kind of chick. Wash.

Pauly D is right. Youse are all f*%kin' nuts man.

The Situation brings the drama in the second half of the episode, bagging on people for no reason and acting like he's the $h!t. Dude, it's getting a tad old. Minus 10.
After JWoww calls him fake, Sitch says she's fake. Pauly appears to nod. Snooki takes this as an insult and tells her BFF, who confronts Pauly. So high school. Plus 2.
This whole thing gets a Minus 3 overall, because while we always can respect things getting heated, it's cliched at this point, and all stems from Mike being a prick.
At the club, Sammi asks Ron, "Why are you with me?" "I'm in love with you," he says. "Why? I can't help the way I feel." Basically, Ron-Ron's better judgment might say otherwise, but a girl who will put up with anything is hard to find. Plus 8.

Snooki weeps as the cast says its goodbyes for like a few weeks.

Frightened, Snooki storms off in tears, believing everyone hates her now, and starts pack her bags to leave ... which she was going to do anyway. Plus 5.
Mike, good guy he is, explains to Snooki that everyone loves her and no one has any hatred towards her. Unless he wants to leave the club first. Minus 3.
With Mike scooping her up over his shoulders, Snooki's coo-ca shows for the 100th time, hugs are exchanged, and fences are mended. Mostly. Hey, we have to have the tension lingering when things move back to Jersey this winter. Plus 10.

Michael Lohan Attacked By Knife-Wielding Maniac?

o much for his pledge to disappear from the spotlight.
This isn't his usual plea for attention, but Lindsay Lohan's estranged father, Michael Lohan, is back in the news ... because, he claims, he was attacked by an unknown assailant last night, and the middle-aged man slashed his neck!
Seriously, the police came after he said this happened.

Michael claims he was attacked outside his home in Santa Monica about an hour after he received a threatening phone call. Shortly after the call, Michael says he went out for cigarettes, and that's when he says the attack occurred.
He told police that he went to open his car door and was jumped from behind by a man who choked him and "caused substantial bleeding" by taking a sharp object to Mike's neck before Mike fought him off and he fled on foot.
As for possible motive? He feels it's someone who doesn't want him to show up at Lindsay Lohan's court hearing today. In other words, take a number.

Taylor Swift Stands by Her Songs

She's bitter toward Joe Jonas, apologetic toward Taylor Lautner and hateful of John Mayer.
Indeed, Taylor Swift is not shy when it comes to kissing, telling and singing about her ex-boyfriends. But the artist insists her goal isn't to actually avenge former flings with her music.
"I just write from my perspective about how it ended up and what I felt about it," she told Us Weekly this week in preparation for "Speak Now" to be released on October 26.

Taylor adds that she's "proud" of her work and doesn't fear a backlash from future boyfriends over fear they'll be included in a song.

"I've always lived by the theory that if a guy doesn't want me to write a bad song about him, he won't do bad things," she says. "And he shouldn't, you know?"

Trouble for Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett?

Like millions of men around the country, Hank Baskett can't hold down a job.
But it's not due to the economy or any corporate downsizing. The guy just isn't very good at football.

As a result of Baskett changing NFL teams often, there is reportedly stress in the marriage between him and Kendra Wilkinson. That's what happens when reality show cameras must worry about which city they'll be filming in from month to month.

It happens to all relationships, right?

According to Hollywood Life sources, the couple is going through a lot these days. Most notably: stuff and things.

“Kendra’s moved four times in four months [and] her kid is going through stuff," says an insider, adding she and Hank “are embarrassed they are going through things.”

Season three of the pair's E! reality show is scheduled to premiere next month, meaning Baskett's floundering football career has at least one bright side: it will make for interesting, televised relationship drama.

Willow Smith Explains Whip My Hair, Introduces World to Her Warriorettes

Willow Smith has an entire nation whipping their hair. But why?
What is the motivation behind the nine-year's hit new single?
"Whip My Hair means don't be afraid to be yourself, and don't let anybody tell you that that's wrong. Because the best thing is you," Smith told MTV this week.

In the official video for the single, viewers watch as a bunch of kids whip their hair around and splatter paint on the walls of a school.

Willow has dubbed these pre-teens the "Warriorettes."

The term refers to how one should stand by one's beliefs, but do it with a soft side.

"It takes a warrior to stand up for themselves and not let anybody tell them that what they're wearing or what they're saying or what they're doing is wrong... but it still takes sensitivity," she said.

There's really no other way to put this: Edward and Bella will have some wild and crazy sex in Breaking Dawn.
Those familiar with the novel series know of what we speak: the couple goes at it on its honeymoon like... well, two people in love that have never been intimate with each other before.
Will the big screen version of this scene reflect the same passion? Oh yes, a source tells E! News, saying: "It's dead on with the book."

Confirming the movie's script, penned by Melissa Rosonberg, is "really good," this insider added that it "has a pretty sexual tone with a lot of the characters this time around," but all involved must be weary of the film's PG-13 rating

"We have to keep that in mind. It's essential," he said.

Did Zach Galifianakis Torpedo Mel Gibson Cameo in The Hangover 2?

Mel Gibson was set to play a small role in The Hangover 2 until the film's producers unexpectedly cut Mel's cameo, citing unrest among the cast and crew.
It's unclear who specifically objected, but rumors are swirling that Zach Galifianakis - whose Hangover quotes pretty much made the original - is behind it.
In a Comedy Death-Ray Radio podcast October 15, Zach lamented that, as an actor, "you don’t have a lot of control" over elements of a film's production.

Moreover, "I’m in a deep protest right now with a movie I’m working on, up in arms about something," Galifianakis said. "But … I’m not making any leeway.”
Combined with director Todd Phillips’ comment that Gibson “did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew,” you can see how that rumor started.
Galifianakis' manager had no comment on this, nor did Phillips, who was excited to have Gibson on board. The move has sparked outcry from some fans.
Supporters note that Mel, despite his issues, hasn't been charged with a crime, unlike Mike Tyson, who had a role in the first Hangover and raped someone.

Lindsay Lohan Dodges Bullet, Sent Back to Rehab

Lindsay Lohan dodged a major bullet this morning when Judge Elden Fox ordered her back to rehab until at least January 3, but spared her more jail time.
The troubled star is due back in court February 25, and will be subject to random drug testing in between her release from rehab until that court date.
If Lindsay does not test positive for drugs or alcohol, her sentence will be converted to unsupervised probation. So if she stays clean, problem solved.

THAT WAS CLOSE: Lindsay Lohan is headed back to Betty Ford, not jail.

The D.A., fed up with Lindsay's baloney, recommended she get 180 days in county jail. The judge could have sentenced her to a year if he deemed it necessary.
However, Fox was sympathetic to Lohan, but at the same time stern. "You are an addict. I hope you understand that," he said. Lindsay nodded in agreement.
"I don't want another train wreck," Fox warned. Asked if she was unclear on the matter, Linds tearfully responded, "No, your honor. I understand. Thank you."

Brooke Mueller Says Relationship with Charlie Sheen is "Great"

What's a bit of knife-wielding and a few death threats between soulmates?
Despite police records confirming that Charlie Sheen held a blade to his wife's throat in December, Brooke Mueller told OK! this week that everything between her and the actor is fine. It's actually better than fine.

"All the relationships start taking a turn, some for the good, some bad," co-creator and executive producer SallyAnn Salsano teases of the new season.

"There are some new hook-ups both in the house and outside. They're still the same cast, but I think how they deal with situations is completely different."
The same cast plus one. Deena Nicole Cortese joins the show to replace Angelina Pivarnick, who stirred up drama, then quit both of the first two seasons.
"It was hard for her to come in since there was a pre-existing relationship between everyone," Salsano said. "There was literally no shortage of drama."

Judge Nixes O.J. Simpson Appeal; World Devastated

Christie Prody, Fred Goldman and anyone with a conscience can rest easy after O.J. Simpson lost his appeal of a kidnapping and robbery conviction today.
Juice recruited some lowlife thugs, instructed them to "get some heat", a la Stringer Bell, and jacked a memorabilia dealer to reclaim "his" stuff in 2008.
The Nevada Supreme Court upheld the ruling in the case, stating that none of O.J.'s complaints had merit, and that he should continue doing time.

O.J. appealed on grounds of racial bias, saying prosecutors axed African-American jurors unfairly, and didn't allow his attorneys to ask certain questions.
Specifically, about the two people he killed in 1994.
The former Heisman winner and NFL Hall of Fame member was sentenced to 33 years in prison, with a possibility for parole on good behavior after nine.
Interestingly, one of Simpson's cohorts, Clarence Stewart, is also appealing, arguing that Simpson's involvement unfairly prejudiced a jury against him.
No idea how that would possibly happen ...
